Now that The Driver is subbed, Jason said to take it easy and see what way editors might want to take this thing. I wrote him an e-mail tonight telling him that I can bring the second half of this book home. I can also write it as a novel if they hate it.
We got a reject today. the guy said he loved the trip back into old New York, but he wanted action. I'm bound by the truth, so I can't revise that. If they all want action, I'll go back to a novel, and give them action.
i'm flexible.
