For any single guys who don't know my wife I have news for you. You're going to have to settle for the second greatest girl in the world.

I posted a Kenny Rogers video "She believes in me" and it put things in perspective for me tonight.

When a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it you ask?? Yes, it' makes a noise. I know, because I was there. I was no one. I made a lot of racket, but she wasn't there to hear it, so I don't remember a lot of it. I remember it sucked.

I believe in myself. I believe that given enough time and 'right place-right time' and I'll be published. I don't boast though. This believing in myself stuff is all new to me. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

Screw success and fame and money and all. I've been with her for 13 years now and she still believes in me.

She's been gone now for 1 1/2 days and I'm finally convinced that we are a duras. I miss her complaining about how much I take her for granted. I'm starting to see her point.
